Chic & Basic Velvet Hotel Barcelona

Very clean rooms, daily room service, helpful staff, nice lounge area, convenient location near metro and bus stations.

As foreign tourists, we loved that the hotel was conveniently located near multiple subway lines, night bus to the airport, and a train station. This made it incredibly easy for us to explore the city and save both time and money with our T10 pass. The clean toilet and TV unit, although not very helpful due to the language barrier, added to our overall comfort. The highlight of our stay was the delicious breakfast and the friendly staff who assisted us with renting bicycles. This service really enhanced our Barcelona trip and we were thrilled with how well it was offered. The reasonable price and proximity to the main train station and Fira Barcelona - Montjuic were also major advantages for us.

Felt like home, no complaints whatsoever.

Great location, just a few minutes walk from major transport links and attractions. The staff were helpful and friendly, and even looked after our bags after we checked out. The room had all the basics we needed, including a clean bathroom with toiletries provided. We enjoyed the fresh breakfast every day, and there were plenty of eating options nearby. a convenient and comfortable stay.

The room we stayed in didn't have a proper window, just a small gap in the middle of the building, so it felt a bit closed off and stuffy. We could also hear noise from the lobby and other rooms, which wasn't ideal for a good night's sleep.

My stay at Chic & Basic Velvet was good. The staff were really good too make sure I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. One specific situation that stood out was when I accidentally left my bag in the lobby and didn't realize until I was back in my room. I rushed downstairs in a panic, but the receptionist had already noticed my bag and secured it safely for me. Their attentiveness and quick response saved me a lot of stress. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and attention to detail.

The hotel had a great vibe and was beautifully decorated, with an art deco style from the 1930s to 1950s. The staff were efficient, professional, and very attentive. The cleaning service was flawless, and the room was always clean and well-maintained. The location was excellent, with two metro stations nearby and lots of restaurants and markets in the vicinity.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the prices were excellent. I couldn't believe the value for money I got. Secondly, the location was perfect. It was in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance of the metro stations. Lastly, the staff were amazing. They were so helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home. Oh, and did I mention that breakfast was included? Such a nice touch!

There was one small thing that could be improved. The rooms looked a bit outdated and some things were badly repaired.

The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, as it was close to major metro and bus stops, making it easy to get around. the hotel was conveniently located near the airport exit, a great advantage for our early morning departure. The interior of the hotel was also excellent, with a modern and stylish design that created a cute atmosphere.

We were not happy with our room. Room 100, in particular, had no actual window and was situated next to the lobby.

We had a great experience at this hotel. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, but still in the center of things. We were able to easily explore the city using the nearby Metro and Aerobus. The room was clean and well-decorated, and we appreciated having a fridge to keep our snacks. The staff was friendly and the breakfast had a huge choice of options. We also enjoyed relaxing on the lovely terrace.

The location was excellent, allowing me to easily explore the city and its attractions. I particularly appreciated the rooftop area with great views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. The rooms were simple but had everything I needed, and the bed was comfortable. I also enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee available in the lounge. my experience at Chic & Basic Velvet was good, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

This hotel is a great value for the price, with spacious rooms and a comfortable king size bed. The location is excellent, within walking distance of both Espanya and Tarragona metro stations. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the basic amenities provided are satisfactory. The breakfast with a nice view is a delightful bonus.

The hotel is located in a residential area with nearby schools and is close to Barcelona Sants train station for easy airport connections. It is also conveniently located near the Metro at Espanya, allowing for easy access to all the major attractions of Barcelona.

The beds are uncomfortable and on wheels, causing constant movement throughout the night.
